This Time Around
Has anyone used an epidural for your first birthing, then opted for a natural birth the second time around? Or?
Four years ago I had my daughter. I used an epidural with her. The birthing went great, except my daughter's heart rate went down some. And I had bad vomiting right after the birth.
I decided to try to have a natural birth this time around.
What was the differences for you?
I had to one with my first one because his head was lying on my back. They thought they might have to do a c-section I was to far along to be put to sleep to have him. I had a hard time after his birth.
With my second one I was in labor 6 hrs and the doctor had delivered 6 babies before he got to me. By the time he saw me I was on the deliver table. I went all natural with him and my last one.
I felt better after I delivered my last two going natural then I did when I had the epidural with my oldest one. My last one was born 30 mins after I got to the hospital so there was not time for one with him.
I did better with out the meds in my system. I wanted to go natural with my oldest one but he wanted to be stubborn. lol..
